I grew up in Turkey, moved to the U.S. at 17, and spent 15 years in impact investing — the work that put me on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. But what I do now started long before any of that. My mother spent 30 years developing a proprietary system, that I now call The Born Method™, that decodes how people are wired — their potential, their timing, how their relationships work, and what drives the decisions they don't even realize they're making. I grew up inside that system. Today I use it to guide people through career transitions, family dynamics, and business moves — with the kind of clarity that makes the next step obvious. FAMILY
Many of the people I work with want to understand their families better. I show them how each child recharges differently, what motivates them, the type of learning style they each have, and how they hear one parent versus the other. Then we look at how the whole family operates when they come together. They walk away with specific approaches for communicating with each of their children and a completely different understanding of their partner. One of them said it was like having a forever manual for her family.
BUSINESS
I work with a lot of founders who feel something is off in their company but can't pinpoint where. We look at their leadership team — everyone's communication style, how they each work, their strengths, and the way they filter certain situations. From there, we think more deeply about the role each person can play in this season of the company. I also look at the company's own numbers, so we can see exactly what it needs to focus on — whether that's marketing this year and team restructuring the following year. One founder told me it was her first strategic decision that felt grounded instead of reactive.
IDENTITY
Not everyone comes with a clear question. Some people just know something needs to shift — a mother who's been at the same company for 20 years, an executive who's outgrown their role but doesn't know what's next. We look at their core needs, their past patterns, what they're going through right now, and then map out next steps based on the potential of their year. One woman I worked with had been sitting on thoughts she couldn't act on for years. I was able to reframe and reflect a lot of what she was already thinking in an objective way back to her, so she could finally take the next step.
TIMING
A lot of people come to me ready to make a move — a career pivot, a launch, a big life change. Sometimes their patterns show the timing isn't right yet. Even if they tried, it would feel like pushing against a current. Instead, I guide them toward what this season is actually for — talking to the right people, learning new things, reinvesting in relationships that went quiet.
